GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, 5 December 2022— Liti Capital, an industry-disrupting litigation funding company, has announced a successful outcome on one of the four legal cases it has selected and invested in to-date.
Just shy of a year after entering into a funding agreement with the plaintiff, Liti Capital has exited the case, resulting in a more-than 5x return, and the success is attributed to the company’s meticulous underwriting process and its team’s collective expertise.
Liti Capital committed to fund up to USD $1 million of this United States Federal Court case, which involved breaches of contract, fiduciary duty and labor law. Liti Capital assisted the claimant in retaining a globally renowned law firm, which agreed to work on a contingency basis after the capital had been allocated.
Liti Capital will use the net proceeds derived from the exit to support its portfolio of assets and to continue building its positive track record.
Andy Christen, Co-founder at Liti Capital comments:
“This early exit is strategic in light of Liti Capital’s new portfolio strategy and an excellent first year result. Liti Capital will use the funds derived from its early exit to support its company assets and to zealously continue its positive track record.
“We fully credit our successful investment return to its accomplished and inventive executives, as well as our top-shelf case selection and case management— the latter utilizing a multistep evaluation process that utilizes in-house and external expertise.
“We have exciting plans for 2023, including a healthy pipeline of legal cases. We are also developing a new streamlined underwriting process utilizing artificial intelligence, which will further perfect our case-selection process.”

About Liti Capital
Liti Capital is a Swiss-registered company specializing in litigation funding. As the first company to merge litigation funding with blockchain technology, Liti Capital has disrupted the market by removing steep barriers to entry and aiming to introduce liquidity to a historically illiquid industry.
Both institutional and retail investors can participate in the litigation funding market by purchasing LITI, one of the first equity-backed tokens, or through more traditional investment offerings.
Focusing on winnable, and recoverable claims, when investors invest in Liti Capital, they are investing in its whole portfolio. This diversifies risk and increases the likelihood of consistent dividend payouts.
