Time Frame of the case:
2017-2018
CASE REPORT

Over 100 invested in a series of crypto mining companies that were heavily promoted by a number of influencers and one movie star. The mining companies were all fake and did not operate any real mining operations. This was a typical fraud that followed the bull market of 2017 where a lot of ‘get rich quick schemes’ were set-up by various individuals. In this case, the scammers are still active out there trying to defraud other victims. There are at least 100 victims that have lost a minimum of $1,000 each.
